Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam attended and delivered a keynote speech at the congress.

According to the political report at the meeting, in the 2020-2025 period, the MobiFone Party Committee effectively implemented the resolutions and directives of the Party Central Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee as well as the Resolution of its 2nd Congress for the 2020–2025 period.

MobiFone successfully maintained its stable mobile market share, improved labor productivity, strengthened its position in the telecommunications market, and made important contributions to ensuring the national information infrastructure network. 

In addition, the corporation consistently promoted innovation and creativity, accelerated organizational restructuring, actively applied science and technology, optimized operational processes and attached great importance to improving the quality of human resources in line with comprehensive digital transformation.

At the congress, delegates actively discussed and gave comments on the draft documents to be submitted to the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Committee for the term 2025–2030. 

The congress also elected a delegation to attend the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Committee.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam congratulated and highly appreciated the effort, determination and achievements of the Party Committee of MobiFone during the past term.

Regarding key tasks of the Party committee for the coming term, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam requested the MobiFone Party Committee to promptly and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Party Central Committee, especially Resolution No. 57, improve its leadership, direction and organization of emulation movements, creating strong motivation for officers and employees to fulfill their duties.

He also stressed the need to proactively attract high-quality human resources to the corporation, draft a comprehensive training and human resource development plan to build a workforce with professional skills capable of meeting the requirements of a leading telecommunications enterprise in the Public Security Forces.

The Deputy Minister also urged MobiFone to do business  in stable and lawful manners, protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees, strive to meet and exceed the business targets set by the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, and aim to develop technology and cybersecurity products capable of competing in international markets.

Furthermore, the corporation was requested to accelerate the development of public service platforms and technological products for the Government, organizations and enterprises, expand its market share and steadfastly pursue the goal of becoming a core national digital enterprise.
