Mobile police force holds Party Congress

PSNews - The Party organization of the Mobile Police Command (MPC) under the Ministry of Public Security organized its 9th Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 term.

In the last term, the MPC Party organization upheld its heroic traditions and well performed its main function of advising leaders at all levels on security protection and social order maintenance while coordinating with other functional forces to prevent and fight sabotage activities by hostile and reactionary forces, contributing to protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.

Under the leadership of the MPC Party organization, its subordinate Party committees and organizations have focused on promoting political and ideological education for their cadres and Party members and required carders holding leading positions to set good examples for their juniors.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung asked the Party organization to continue following the directives, resolutions and guidelines of the Party Central Committee, the Public Security Central Party Committee on protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and building the People's Public Security Forces, especially the mobile police force.

Particularly, it should pay attention to working out and implementing plans to safeguard the 37th ASEM Summit, the 13th National Party Congress, the election of the 15th tenure National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2021 - 2026 term.

At the same time, it should strengthen inspection and supervision within the Party organization, improve the efficiency of political and ideological education for its Party members as well as require them to drill in revolutionary morality, practice a healthy lifestyle, and observe discipline.

At the Congress, the delegates elected the Party Executive Committee of the MPC Party organization for the 2020 - 2025 term and a delegation to attend the 7th Public Security Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 term.
