Mobile Police reinforced Bac Giang province for COVID-19 control

PSNews - The Mobile Police Command under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on May 17 deployed troops to support Bac Giang province in ensuring security and social order, and controlling the disease. Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of the Mobile Police Command attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.

    Amid the complicated COVID-19 situation in Bac Giang province, the Mobile Police Command sent nearly 300 officers and soldiers to assist the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department and local authorities in controlling the COVID-19 and safeguarding the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure in the locality.

    At his remarks, Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong asked all reinforced officers and soldiers to well perform their assigned political missions. Especially, they should strictly follow the directions of the Prime Minister and MPS leaders on the disease control.

    Leaders of the reinforced officers and soldiers should coordinate with the local authorities and people to quickly assign mobile police officers and soldiers to working posts as well as to ensure supplies and safety for them. They should also form ready reaction teams to assist the local police in ensuring security and social order, Lt. Gen. Cuong added.
