MPS and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism sign cooperation program for 2021-2025 period

PSNews - According to the cooperation program between the two ministries, relevant public security units and agencies nationwide were also responsible for ensuring security and social order for national and international sport events in Vietnam.

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on May 26 held a conference to review the implementation of Cooperation Program No.04 in the 2016-2020 period and sign a new deal for the 2021-2025 period between the two ministries.

On March 25, 2016, the MPS and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed Cooperation Program No. 04 on physical training and sport activities in the People's Public Security Forces, contributing to promoting mass physical training and sports movements in public security agencies and units as well as attracting more officers and soldiers to participate in sports and physical training.

According to the cooperation program between the two ministries, relevant public security units and agencies nationwide were also responsible for ensuring security and social order for national and international sport events in Vietnam.

At the conference, Minister To Lam and Mr. Nguyen Van Hung signed a new cooperation program for the 2021-2025 period between the two ministries.

Addressing the conference, Minister To Lam expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and wished that the culture, sports and tourism sector would further support the People's Public Security Forces to develop physical training and sport movements. 

He also suggested that relevant agencies under the two ministries should closely coordinate to effectively implement the cooperation while expanding the "All people do physical exercise following the great Uncle Ho's example" movement in the 2021-2030 period in line with Directive No. 02 of the Minister of Public Security.
