MPS boosts cooperation with SANS

PSNews – Minister of Public Security (MPS), Senior Lieutenant General To Lam received a high-rangking security delegation led by Mr. Nedialko Nedialkov, visiting Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) of the Republic of Bulgaria on October 26th.

Mr. To Lam welcomed the SANS delegates and highly valued its working visit to Vietnam. He also affirmed that this visit could be seen as a hallmarks in the bilateral relations and created an impetus for cooperation ties between the two sides.

He underscored that the traditional friendly relations and multisided cooperation between Vietnam and Bulgaria are continuously expanded in politics, national defence, security, economics, trade, investment, culture and education.

He hoped to further develop traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, especially between the two agencies, with the aim of building a strategic partnership between the two countries in the coming time.

For his part, Mr. Nedialko Nedialkov expressed delight at the growth of traditional friendly and good relations between Vietnam and Bulgaria, wished that cooperation between the two countries in general and between MPS and SANS in particular will be brought to a new high level in the time ahead.

On the morning of the same day, Lt. Gen. Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security held talks with Mr. Nedialko Nedialkov and the SANS delegations.

In a spirit of trust and mutual understanding, representatives of MPS and SANS exchanged views on the current situation, potential and advantages of each side and discusses and agreed on specific mechanisms and effective measures to strengthen bilateral relations and bolster cooperation toward practical outcomes, for national interests of each nation and benefit of the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry and Bulgarian State Security Agency.
