Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Public Security called on agencies, organizations, enterprises and benefactors to support the renovation of the school branch facility.

The project to renovate it, with a total investment of more than 5.1 billion VND, began in October 2025 and was completed in January 2026.

The new school was built on an area of 350 square meters, including two classrooms, a kitchen, teachers’ accommodations, sanitation facilities, a playground, fences and various equipment serving the study and daily activities of teachers and students.

During the construction process, officers and enlistees from the provincial police unit and border guard unit as well as local residents donated nearly 3,000 working days, directly transporting materials and leveling the ground for construction.

When the new school is put into operation, it will provide preschool children in La U Co Village with access to a spacious and safe learning environment, contributing to improving education quality and creating better conditions for local children’s comprehensive development.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long emphasized that the Party and State have always identified education and training as a top national policy and a foundation for the country’s rapid and sustainable development.

As the La U Co Kindergarten branch renovation project has been completed in nearly three months, it has created a momentum for the development of more modern schools for the future generation, particularly six inter-level boarding schools being rebuild from March, in Lai Chau province.

On this occasion, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee and Lai Chau Provincial Police Department presented numerous gifts to the La U Co Kindergarten branch, policy beneficiary families and local students.
