MPS delegation participates in 8th ISC

The 8th Istanbul Security Conference (ISC) wrapped up successfully in Turkey on November 4. A representative from the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security (MPS) delivered a speech at the conference.

The MPS delegation was led by Major General Dao Ngoc Dinh, Vice Head of the Department of Public Security History, Science and Strategic Studies and Head of the Public Security Strategic Institute. Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey Do Hai Son also joined the delegation.

The 8th ISC was held by the Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) from November 2 to 4, gathering hundreds of experts and scholars, and getting support from various agencies and organizations, specializing in foreign policy research.

In addition to the official opening session, the conference was divided into 3 in-depth forums with a wide range of topics including many useful updates on maritime security, cybersecurity, global security and national defense and security in the post-COVID-19 era.

More than 50 reports from government officials and leading international speakers and experts were delivered at the event.

The head of the Vietnamese MPS delegation delivered an important speech at the forum on maritime security, significance of maritime security, as well as Vietnam's efforts and initiatives to contribute to ensuring maritime safety and security in the region and the world.

On the sidelines of the conference, Founding Chairman of TASAMSuleyman Sensoy hosted a meeting with the delegation of the MPS of Vietnam.
