MPS extradites internationally wanted criminal to Russia

PSNews - The Department of Legislation and Legal, Administrative Reforms coordinated with other units under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to extradite a wanted person to Russia upon Russia’s request, on December 3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The extradited person is Turets-Afuda Kseniia (born on March 12, 1992, in Tymovsky, Sakhalin Province, sex: female, nationality: Russian). The extradition of the Russian female has been requested by the Russian Federation as she has been accused by the Russian side of various charges, including her involvement in criminal gangs, illegal drug trafficking rings, and illegal drug production. She has also been wanted by Interpol.

She has moved to many countries. During the time living in Vietnam, she used her husband’s old passport to rent different residential places.

At the meeting between the two sides to perform the procedure for extradition at Tan Son Nhat Airport, representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Russia, Interpol’s Office in Moscow and the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City thanked the functional forces of Vietnam for their effective cooperation. The Russian delegation also affirmed that relevant agencies of Russia would soon complete necessary documents on the extradition of the person.

Turets-Afuda Kseniia was then taken back to Russia.
