The Ministry of Public Security held an international scientific conference on training for task-force police, on November 6th, at the People’s Police College I, in Hanoi.

Under the authority of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Rector of the People’s Police College I Major General Le Hoai Nam Assoc. Prof., Dr., and Deputy Director of the Department of Public Security History, Science and Strategy Major General Dao Ngoc Dinh co-chaired the conference.

The conference saw the presence of representatives from the Embassies of Russia, China, India and Indonesia.

This scientific conference was a forum for domestic and foreign scientists as well as delegates from police units and agencies to evaluate results of the task-force police training work in the past time, as well as discus difficulties in the training work and propose approaches to improve the quality and effectiveness of the training of the Vietnamese task-force police in the coming time.

At the conference, scientists and delegates agreed on the need to improve the quality of the training of the task-force police and clarified a number of theoretical and practical issues in training task-force police at public security educational institutions as well as at police units and agencies.

Concluding the conference, Major General Le Hoai Nam acknowledged and highly valued opinions given by scientists and delegates, saying that their ideas and recommendations would contribute to developing the Vietnamese Task Force Police in the coming time.

Major General Le Hoai Nam asked the Organizing Committee to summarize delegates’ opinions, ideas and recommendations and then make a report to submit to leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, helping the Ministry’s leaders direct the work of training the Task Force Police, contributing to building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces to meet their task requirements in line with the Politburo’s Resolution No.12.
