MPS honors newly entitled public security artists

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a meeting on September 5 to honor the artists in the Public Security Forces who have just been given the titles “People’s Artist” and “Meritorious Artist.” General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, chaired the meeting.

The meeting also saw the presence of People’s Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh, Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other distinguished guests.

Speaking at the meeting, General To Lam congratulated the artists on their promotion.

He also asked the artists to follow the moral example of Uncle Ho, work and live to deserve the noble titles given by the State, strive to achieve more successes in their careers, and promote artworks with both ideological and artistic values about the Public Security Forces in the public.

Minister To Lam also emphasized the need to put good deeds and role models of the Public Security Forces in artistic pieces so as to further promote the image of the public security officer  in the cause of ensuring national security and order.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized an event on September 29 to present the titles of People’s Artist and Meritorious Artist to 391 artists, including three People’s Artists and two Meritorious Artists working in the Public Security Forces.
