MPS honors outstanding public security youths

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on March 23 held an art program named “Chien cong dang Bac (Victories presented to Uncle Ho) and a ceremony to praise and present the “Public Security Youth Award” 2017.

The event was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Ngoc Luong; Major General Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; Major General Mai Van Ha, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Director of ANTV; other leaders of units under the MPS and relevant agencies and organizations.

The “Public Security Youth Award” is an annual event held by the MPS to praise and honor the Youth Union members working at the Public Security Forces with outstanding achievements in various fields.

This year, the Advisory Council for the Award had been selected and asked the MPS to honor and present the Award to 20 outstanding youths.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized and appreciated the achievements of the award-winners.

He also emphasized that, over the last 70 years, the public security forces have continuously developed and now become the core force in the protection of security and order. They also serve as a firm and reliable support for the Party, the State and people.

He expressed his belief that the police officers and soldiers honored at the event would always be good models in  the Youth Union organizations, continue their efforts to study and set good examples for other public security officers and soldiers to follow, and contributed more to the country’s construction and protection of national security.
