MPS honors outstanding youths and communal police officers

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony on March 25 to honor young officers for their outstanding achievements in 2021.

Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.

20 young police officers were awarded the title “Outstanding Youths of the Public Security Forces” 2021 while 66 communal police officers were honored for their contributions to ensuring security and order in different localities.

The title “Outstanding Youths of the Public Security Forces” was awarded annually to young officers and soldiers of the Public Security Forces in recognition of their achievements and efforts in all working aspects, said Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Department of Party and Political Work.

267 officers and soldiers of the Public Security Forces have been honored with the title since the award was first launched 13 years ago.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To hailed the efforts and achievements of the young officers. He also urged all young public security officers and soldiers to strive to fulfil all given tasks.
