MPS hosts gathering for former leaders and officers on occasion of Lunar New Year

PSNews – On the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet), the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting on January 24 to extend Tet wishes to retired senior leaders in Ho Chi Minh City.

The meeting saw the presence of former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, former Deputy Minister of Public Security; General Le Hong Anh, former Politburo Member, former Deputy Minister of Public Security.

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee, Minister of Public Security chaired the meeting.

The event also saw various leaders and former leaders of the MPS.

Minister To Lam briefed the delegates on outcomes of the task performance of the Public Security Forces in 2018.

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam underlined that the former leaders and officers of the MPS had made great contribution to the achievements of the force in 2018.

The Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS presented special gifts to the former leaders and officers of the MPS living in Ho Chi Minh City in recognition of their contributions to the Public Security Forces.
