MPS inspects fire prevention and fighting plans in Vinh Phuc

PSNews - Inspection Group 856 of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Luu, Chief Inspector of the Inspectorate of the MPS, on March 20, inspected the observance of the laws on fire prevention and fighting at the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province.

The inspection focused on responsibilities of  the Provincial People's Committee for directing its subordinate agencies in following the laws on fire prevention; for spreading fire fighting and prevention knowledge and holding fire fighting training; and for checking and dealing with offences of fire safety regulations, as well as firefighting equipment and firefighting and rescue plans during the period from January 1st 2016 to December 31st 2017.

The inspection is expected to run till May 8 at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee and its 10 subordinate units.

Speaking at the inspection, Mr. Vu Chi Giang, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee stressed that leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will direct target local units to follow seriously the inspection group’s regulations, and provide favorable conditions for the inspectors to effectively and quickly complete their missions.
