Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Hung said, the inspection aimed to accurately assess the current situation of law enforcement and legal affairs in the Public Security Forces, point out both strengths and weakness as well as difficulties in enforcing laws and dealing with legal affairs, figure out causes of the issues, and propose solutions to building and perfecting the legal system, improving the efficiency of law enforcement and legal affairs in the Public Security Forces.

The inspection delegation planned to check 5 major fields, namely law dissemination and education, law enforcement, management of the handling of administrative violations, practice of democracy at grassroots levels, and legal affairs.

The Municipal Police Department of Hanoi was requested to report the role of Party committees and leaders of local police agencies and units at all levels in conducting law enforcement work and legal affairs, as well as their role in advising higher-level authorities to improve and complete legal institutions and policies.

The deputy minister also asked the Hanoi police to report on the  results of law dissemination and education, the efficiency of mobilizing people to obey the laws and using the laws to fight and refute false and fake information of hostile forces.
