MPS leader works with staff of Phuoc Hoa and My Phuoc prisons

PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a delegation to work with Phuoc Hoa and My Phuoc prisons, based in Tan Phuoc district, Tien Giang.

Senior Colonel Tran Van Dung, Chief Superintendent of Phuoc Hoa prison, and Colonel Vo Nhut Hai, Chief Superintendent of My Phuoc prison reported the Deputy Minister and the working delegation on the results of their units’ various activities in 2017.

Deputy Minister Son acknowledged and appreciated the efforts and achievements of the two units. He also encouraged police officers, soldiers and workers of the two units to overcome all difficulties to fulfill the assigned tasks.

The Deputy Minister asked the leaders of the two prisons to actively focus on the central activities, enhance the management and education of their soldiers and officers to strictly follow the regulations and discipline, and uphold the sense of responsibility.

He also asked the two units to seriously follow up directions of the Minister of Public Security on detainment work and fully and correctly implement regulations and policies toward prisoners. Deputy Minister Son urged the staff of the two prisons to tighten relations with local authorities and residents as well as other armed forces based in the locality; attach importance to improving living standard of police officers as well as detainment conditions for prisoners.
