A delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Deputy Secretary and Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To burnt incense in commemoration of Senior Colonel To Quyen, on the 75th Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and other delegates light incense in memory of Senior Colonel To Quyen.

Senior Colonel To Quyen used to be Vice Chief of the Tay Ninh Provincial Security Committee during the war and Director of Department V26 under the MPS. He was rewarded the title “Hero of People’s Armed Forces” for his feats of arms during the war.

The MPS delegation included Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and representatives of agencies and units under the MPS.

At the alter dedicated to the deceased officer, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To stated that the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and all generations of public security officers always remember and thank Senior Colonel To Quyen for his great contribution to safeguarding national security, maintaining public order and safety, and building the Public Security Forces.
