MPS leadership works with NA deputies of Public Security Forces

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) hosted a working session with National Assembly (NA) deputies of the Public Security Forces, who are attending the 10th plenary session of the 15th National Assembly, on October 22, in Hanoi.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen chaired the working session.

The working session was also attended by representatives of under-ministerial departments and NA deputies of the Public Security Forces.

At the session, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative–Judicial Reforms Lieutenant General Pham Cong Nguyen briefed delegates on the agenda for the 10th plenary session and key contents of the draft laws developed under the chairmanship of the MPS.

Accordingly, at this session, the MPS is responsible for drafting and defending ten draft laws at the NA’s sitting. All are significant legislative documents with wide-ranging and profound impacts on national security, social order and the building of the Public Security Forces.

In a candid and responsible manner, the deputies and representatives of relevant under-ministerial departments discussed and gave comments on several matters related to the draft laws crafted by the Ministry.

Concluding the session, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the NA deputies of the Public Security Forces to further promote their roles and responsibilities to actively give good comments on the draft laws at both plenary and group discussions so that NA deputies can reach consensus on the need to promulgate the legal documents drafted by the MPS.
