The Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a conference on January 15 to review its task performance in 2021 and roll out its 2022 work program.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended and delivered a keynote speech at the conference. It also saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

In 2021, the MPS Office actively grasped, analyzed the security situations and forecasted situational developments to advise the MPS leadership on solutions and strategies to protect security and ensure social order.

The Office also supported the Public Security Central Party Committee of and MPS leaders in institutionalizing the guidelines and viewpoints of the Party and State as directions for the Public Security Forces to perform their tasks.

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To awards the second-class Fatherland Defense Order to a sub-unit of the MPS Office.

As the key staff-work agency of the MPS, the Office has assisted the ministry's leaders in making documents for their attendance of meetings of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government.

Meanwhile, it also organized important conferences of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS.

Importantly, the MPS Office actively advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders to direct the People's Public Security Forces to perform their duties in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to effectively realizing the "dual goals" of the country.

In recognition of its achievements in the 2021emulation movement "For National Security", the MPS Office was awarded “Best in Emulation Movement” Flag by the Government.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the MPS, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To praised the achievements that the MPS Office has obtained in 2021.

Regarding mission for the Office in the coming time, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked the unit to strictly follow the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 7th Public Security Party Congress as well as directions in MPS leaders’ remarks at the 77th National Public Security Conference.
