MPS official meets reputable persons of ethnic minority groups of Ba Ria – Vung Tau

In terms of protection of security and order, reputable persons of the ethnic minority groups of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province have always taken the lead in various movements of protecting local security and order, strongly struggled against distorted information of hostile forces with the aim of undermining the national unity bloc.

They also helped the local authorities reasonably resolve various complicated cases related to security and order from the grassroots level, joined the local authorities’ effort to eliminate drug crimes and drug addiction in the locality while encouraging local people to bring into full play the local strengths of tourism and economic production so as to raise the local income per capita, and preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of the ethnic minority groups.

The reputable persons of the local ethnic minority groups have contributed significantly to in the achievements of Ba Ria – Vung Tau in the past time.

Speaking at the meeting, Major General Luong Ngoc Duong congratulated the delegation on the fine outcomes of the province’s movement “All people protecting national security.”

He also hoped that the delegates would further promote their role in mobilizing the ethnic minority groups, cementing the local unity bloc, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality while closely coordinating with the local police to maintain local security and order and actively supporting them in performing their given tasks.
