According to reports, the situation of cyber security in Vietnam has become more complicated in recent years. Particularly, bad elements have made use of cyberspace to undermine the Party, State and nation, as well as the national unity bloc. They have also set up illegal political organizations on cyberspace with the aim of inciting demonstrations and social disturbances. Furthermore, there have appeared large-scale cyber-attacks targeting key State institutions and large businesses, which has again posed serious threats to national security.

The training course aims to enhance the capability of public security agencies and units in protecting State secrets and preventing cyber-attacks as well as to improve the efficiency of the cooperation between the Public Security Forces with other forces in the fight against the use of cyberspace to damage national security and social order of Vietnam.
