MPS organizes training workshop on inspection work

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on January 3 in collaboration with the Lao Cai Provincial Police organized a training workshop on inspection in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai.

The workshop was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and various leaders of the Inspectorate of the MPS (V24).

Reports delivered by various officers of the V24 provided nearly 300 delegates from MPS agencies and units, and provincial-level police departments with an insight into the basic contents of the inspection work and approaches to handle administrative violations in criminal and drug cases, traffic accidents and the observance of the laws on entry, exit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.  Participants at the workshop also studied Directive No. 04 / CT-BCA issued 7 July 2016 by the Minister of Public Security on enhancing anti-corruption within the public security forces.

On the morning of the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh led a delegation of the MPS to work with the Sa Pa District Police.

The Deputy Minister also took the opportunity to grant 5 sets of computers to the district’s police to encourage the police officers and soldiers to overcome their difficulties to fulfill their duties of maintaining security and order.
