The Subcommittee on Security and Order of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held its second meeting on February 24 in Hanoi.

The Subcommittee on Security and Order of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held its second meeting on February 24 in Hanoi.

Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), chaired the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang praised the relevant public security units and localities for their good preparation in terms of security for the SEA GAMES 31.

He stressed that the MPS has set the target of ensuring absolute security and safety for all event venues and residences of athletes, sports officials.

The deputy minister also asked the relevant units to carefully draw up plans to maintain traffic safety and guide delegations during SEA GAMES 31 as avoid traffic jams and accidents negatively affecting the activities of SEA GAMES 31.
