In addition, the Ministry has strengthened coordination with ministries, sectors, localities, publishing houses and the Vietnam Association for Learning Promotion to promote reading and learning movements across the Public Security Forces, gradually contributing to building a learning society within the forces.

To make the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day a regular and substantive activity, the Deputy Minister requested Party committees and leaders of public security units and agencies to pay more attention to reading movements, contributing to fostering their officers and enlistees’ ideology, ethics, good lifestyle and professional capacity.

He also stressed the need to combine the building of reading culture with the building of regular, elite and modern Public Security Forces as well as with the  digital transformation strategy.
