MPS reviews social order administrative management in 2025

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review its administrative management of social order in 2025 and roll out the 2026 work plan, on the morning of December 22, in Hanoi.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long chaired the meeting.

According to the report presented at the meeting, under the close, decisive and timely leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the Social Order Administrative Management Police Force performed its functions in a comprehensive and effective manner, successfully completing key tasks in line with approved work plans, in 2025.

Notably, the force continued to play a pioneering role in implementing Project 06, generating tangible and practical results.

At the same time, the force proactively studied and forecast crime trends, law violations and activities exploiting loopholes of the law or operating under the guise of legitimate business lines, while deploying comprehensive measures to prevent and combat the illegal trafficking and use of weapons, explosives, combat gears and fireworks.

Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long acknowledged and commended the Social Order Administrative Management Police Force for its oustanding achievements over the past year.

To further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative management of social order and safety, the Deputy Minister requested the Police Department of Social Order Administrative Management to effectively implement the Minister’s instructions at the 81st National Public Security Conference to all officers and the ranks, as well as to provide strategic advice on the implementation of Project 06 for the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry’s leadership.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the need to implement breakthrough tasks and solutions, and adopt agile and forward-looking thinking so as to  effectively advice the higher-level authorities on solutions to issues related to State management of security and order.

He also underscored the importance of maintaining its leading role in digital transformation and digital citizenship, accelerating the upgrading of the VNeID application while ensuring security and safety and enhancing coordination with ministries and sectors in building and interlinking national databases.
