Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan and Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Huy Tien co-chaired a ceremony to sign a coordination regulation deal between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the State Audit Office on ensuring security and order and a joint circular stipulating the coordination between the State Audit Office, the Investigation Authority of MPS and the Supreme People's Procuracy, on the afternoon of January 20th, in Hanoi.

At the ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang and State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan signed the coordination regulation deal between MPS and the State Audit Office on ensuring security and order.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy State Auditor General Tran Minh Khuong and Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Ho Duc Anh signed the joint circular specifying the coordination among the State Audit Office, the Investigation Authority of MPS and the Supreme People's Procuracy in exchanging information and making recommendations for the review, investigation and prosecution of criminal cases uncovered through audit activities of the State Audit Office.

Speaking at the ceremony, State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan committed to fully implementing the contents outlined in the coordination regulation with a focus on preventing and combating crime and ensuring security and order.

The Auditor General suggested that MPS should closely collaborate with the State Audit Office in audit work to reduce corruption and negative phenomena, while supporting the State Audit Office in opening training programs on cyber security, protecting internal political security, investigation and other related areas.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the signing of the coordination regulation and the joint circular established an important legal foundation for MPS, the State Audit Office, and the Supreme People's Procuracy to closely collaborate in performing their duties.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS, Minister Luong Tam Quang sincerely thanked the Central Commission for Internal Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the State Audit Office and the Supreme People’s Procuracy for their close and effective coordination with the Public Security Forces, and wished to receive further cooperation and support from the agencies in the future.
