MPS’s Department of Professional Techniques honors good examples

The Public Security Department of Professional Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to honor good examples in the emulation movement “For Homeland Security” in the period of 2015-2020.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

Over the past five years, the Department of Professional Techniques has promoted the emulation movement "For the Homeland Security" with various creative forms and contents. Following the emulation movement, officers and soldiers of the department have made great efforts in performing their tasks of ensuring national security and preventing, fighting sabotage activities and crimes of all kinds, contributing to promoting national industrialization and modernization.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam praised the achievements made by the department in the past five years in implementing the emulation movement "For Homeland Security”. Many officers and soldiers of the department have been awarded various awards and honors by the Party and the Government.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam requested the department to pay more attention to directing its sub-units to conduct the emulation movements along with other movements launched by the Party, the State and the Public Security Central Party Committee on ensuring national security and building the People’s Public Security Forces.

The department should also regularly renew the contents and forms of the emulation movements so as to achieve good outcomes while saving the operational costs.
