Nam Dinh Provincial Police review 10-year implementation of Ministry’s Directive 03

The Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department held a meeting on October 31 to review its 10-year implementation of the Ministry of Public Security’s Directive No.3 on Building a comprehensively strong district-level police force to meet the requirement of the task of ensuring public order and security in the new situation.

The meeting also evaluated the outcome of the restructuring of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police Department under the Government’s Decree 1.

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Mr. Pham Dinh Nghi, Vice Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

At the meeting, leaders of the provincial police briefed the participants on the results of the local police’s 10-year implementation of Directive No.3.

Reports read that the building of a comprehensively strong district-level police force has made positive changes in local public order and security. Particularly, the efficiency and effectiveness of operations of the police was improved, political security in the province was ensured while the number of crimes and social evils were curbed, the state management over public order and security was strengthened and the movement of “All people protecting national security” was spread through communities of people.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the effort and resolve of the provincial police in implementing the directive, and thanked leaders of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party and People’s Committees for their sound direction toward the local police. He also appreciated the close coordination of relevant local agencies and branches with the police.

Delegates of the meeting also listened to speeches of outstanding officers and teams in implementing Directive No.3 and the Government’s Decree No.1. On this occasion, 54 teams and 57 officers with their large achievements in the implementation of the directive were honored with Certificates of Merit presented by the Government, the MPS, the Provincial People’s Committee and the Director of the Provincial Police.
