New classrooms built in Coc Dien school branch

PSNews – The Women’s Union Chapter of the Public Security Department of Information and Communications (PSDIC) in collaboration with the Women’s Union Chapter of the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department inaugurated new classrooms in Coc Dien school branch, of the Phuc Loc primary school, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.

The work was completed after 5 months of construction, and cost VND 500 million.

Coc Dien is a mountainous hamlet of Phuc Loc commune, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province. The national electricity grid has not yet reached the hamlet, and local people's lives are still facing many difficulties.

The Women’s Union Chapter of PSDIC in collaboration with the Women’s Union Chapter of the Bac Kan Provincial Police Department mobilized two sponsors, namely Xuan Huong Beauty Salon and Hoa Binh Construction Corporation, to fund for the building of two 90sqm-classrooms with a comfortable restroom area for Coc Dien school branch.

The work was completed after 5 months of construction, and cost VND 500 million.

At the inauguration ceremony, the charitable mission also presented a solar energy light system and offered 80kg of rice with a total value of VND 34 million to the pupils. Additionally, the mission handed over 28 gifts to needy pupils with good academic records at Coc Dien school branch and 355 gifts to pupils at Phuc Loc primary school.

A representative of the charitable mission hoped that these meaningful gifts will motivate the pupils of Coc Dien school branch to study well, and help the little angels foster their dreams.
