New Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police Department appointed

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) hosted a ceremony on July 14 to announce personnel decisions at the headquarters of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department.

Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the event. 

At the event, Senior Colonel Pham Quang Tuyen, Vice Director of the Department of Personnel, announced the personnel decisions according to which Senior Colonel Ho Van Muoi stopped holding the post of Director of the Provincial Police Department to become Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Dak Nong while Senior Colonel Bui Quang Thanh has been promoted to Director of the Provincial Police from his previous post of Vice Director. 

Senior Colonel Bui Quang Thanh was born in 1977 in Nam Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh. 

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To, under the authority of the Minister of Public Security, handed the decisions and offered flowers to the two newly-promoted officials.

He also spoke highly of the contributions and achievements of Mr. Ho Van Muoi and congratulated them on their promotion. The deputy minister also requested Dak Nong’s new police chief to heighten his sense of responsibility, promote the solidarity of provincial police, maintain police discipline, and lead the local police forces to overcome all difficulties and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks
