New Director of Phu Yen Provincial Police appointed

PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security hosted a ceremony on June 29  in Phu Yen to announce personnel decisions at the headquarters of the Phu Yen Provincial Police Department.

Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the event.

At the event, under the authority of the Minister of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi announced and handed over a retirement decision to Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Nghia, who will leave the post of Deputy Director of the Phu Yen Provincial Police Department.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi also announced and handed over a decision on the appointment to Senior Colonel Phan Thanh Tam, who will take the post of Director of the Phu Yen Provincial Police Department.

Speaking at the event, General Toi spoke highly of the efforts, contributions and achievements of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Trung Nghia, saying that he has successfully fulfilled the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the Ministry and congratulated Senior Colonel Pham Thanh Tam on his appointment.

Regarding the newly appointed Director, the Deputy Minister requested that Senior Colonel Phan Thanh Tam should heighten his sense of responsibility, promote the unit’s solidarity, maintain police discipline, and lead the local police forces to overcome all challenges and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
