At the ceremony, a leader from the Department of Organization and Personnel under MPS announced the decision by the Minister of Public Security to appoint Deputy Director of the Police Department of Social Order Administrative Management Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan as Director of the Police Department of Social Order Administrative Management.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long congratulated Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan on his new position entrusted by the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long stated that Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan is a well-trained police officer with extensive experience in various leadership positions. He recognized that Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan has consistently demonstrated his strong political will, high sense of responsibility, innovative thinking in any working positions.
The Deputy Minister requested that Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan should actively advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders on strategic approaches to effectively implement the tasks of social order administrative management, population data management as well as the tasks of safeguarding national security and maintaining public order while playing its role as the standing agency overseeing the implementation of the Government’s Project 06.
In his inaugural speech, newly-appointed Director of the Police Department of Social Order Administrative Management Senior Colonel Vu Van Tan sincerely thanked the Standing Board of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders for their trust and confidence in him.
The newly appointed Director pledged to strengthen internal unity and work together with other leaders of the department to successfully complete all the tasks and the responsibilities entrusted by the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leadership to the agency, especially the responsibility for Project 06.
