New Director of Quang Binh Provincial Police Department appointed

The Quang Binh Provincial Police Department held a ceremony on May 31 to announce decisions by the Minister of Public Security to appoint senior officers to various leading positions at the Provincial Police Department.

Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.

According to decisions announced at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Tien Nam, former Director of the Provincial Police Department of Quang Binh was appointed as the Director of the Criminal Science Institute under the Ministry of Public Security, while Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop, Vice Director of the Economic Police Department, was appointed as Director of the Provincial Police Department of Quang Binh.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thang and Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen congratulated the two police officers on their appointments as well as spoke highly of their achievements in service over the past time. Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen also wished that the two police officers would try their best to fulfil all their tasks in their new positions.

For his part, Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Hop promised to accomplish all tasks given to him as the Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Police Department.
