New members of PSCPC announced

General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee (PSCPC) and Minister of Public Security on April 12 presided over a meeting to announce the Politburo’s decision on appointment of members of the PSCPC and Standing Commission of the PSCPC in the 2020-2025 term.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong signed Decision 471 to appoint public security officials as members of the Standing Commission of the PSCPC in the 2020-2025 term. They are Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Major General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

According to the decision, new members of the PSCPC include Senior Colonel Le Minh Ha, Vice Chief of the Inspection Commission of the PSCPC, Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Director of the Police Department for Corruption, Smuggling and Economic Crimes, Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Chau, Commander of Mobile Police.

On behalf of the Politburo, Minister To Lam congratulated the officials on their appointment and hoped that they would do their best to fulfil the given tasks on the new positions.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen, on behalf of the newly appointed officials, thanked the Politburo, the PSCPC and Minister To Lam for their appointment.

He also vowed to do his best to fulfil his missions on the new position as a member of the PSPCP’s Standing Commission.
