New Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh opens in Kim Lien Relic

PSNews-The Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Laos organized a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh on September 29 in the Kim Lien Relic site, Nam Dan district, Nghe An, Vietnam.

The event was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Vilay Lakhamphong, Lao Deputy Minister of Defense, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Lao People's Army, representing the Lao Government; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Don, Deputy Minister of Defense of Vietnam, relevant agencies and units under the Ministry of Defense, the Military Region 4 Command; representatives of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, People's Committee of Nghe An Province and staff of the Kim Lien Relic site, Nam Dan, Nghe An.

The Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic site, located in Kim Lien, Nam Dan, Nghe An,is a special gift from the Government of Laos to the Government of Vietnam. The memorial is designed with two floors and is imbued with typical cultural features of Laos.

Its exhibition space is divided into four sections, of which a highlighted space displays images featuring special friendship and solidarity between the two Parties, States, Governments, Armies and peoples of Laos and Vietnam in the struggles against the common enemies for national liberation.Meanwhile, another section displays keep sakes and remembrances of President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane, and the remaining rooms showcase a number of artifacts on cultural activities and costumes of the Lao peoples.

The Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh is a meaningful gift expressing great sentiment of the Lao people for beloved President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam. The project is seen as a precious asset of the two peoples, vividly demonstrating the solidarity and friendship of Vietnam and Laos.
