The Youth Union Chapter of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department held an information drive against drug-related crimes at Kim Lam Secondary School in Thanh Son commune, Thanh Chuong district.

During this drive, the local police briefed local teachers and students on the situation of drug-related crimes in the province and Thanh Chuong district as well as explained them about harms and consequences of narcotics of all kinds. The policemen also provided the students with skills to protect themselves from drug-related evils.

The event also gave the students the opportunities to raise questions over the issue. With their understanding of the harms of narcotics, local students and teachers will hopefully mobilize their families and communities to join the police’s effort to fight drug-related crimes.

The Youth Union Chapter of the Provincial Police Department also presented 10 bicycles to poor students with good academic records in Thanh Son commune, another 10 bicycles to poor students of Huong Tien Secondary School in Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.
