Outstanding policewomen receive Vietnam Women's Award 2021

PSNews - Recently, the Vietnam Women's Award 2021 was grant to many excellent women and women’s organizations in a ceremony held by the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU). 

The annual Vietnam Women's Award, the most honorable, is given to Vietnamese women with outstanding achievements in various fields. It aims to praise and encourage the women who have contributed their talents and knowledge to the country’s industrialization and modernization.

The Women’s Union chapter of the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Hue, Chief of Office 7 of the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security, were among the awardees of the 2021 Vietnam Women's Award.

* During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Women’s Union chapter of the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine has studied and produced various herb-based medical products to support the treatment of COVID-19 as well as personal protective equipment for doctors and nurses on the frontline of the fight against the pandemic.

Additionally, members of the women’s organization voluntarily came to epicenters and pandemic-hit localities to run field hospitals and support local efforts against the infectious disease.

* Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Xuan Hue obtained many achievements when she led the Immigration Office under the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department. Particularly, she and her office advised the provincial police leadership to run an online passport application system, thus saving time for people and avoiding direct contact during the pandemic.

She also directed the immigration force of Thua Thien Hue to strictly manage foreigners residing and working in the province while coordinating with other functional forces to solve many criminal cases involving foreigners. 

Lieutenant Colonel Hue was presented with the third-class “Feat of Arms” Order by the State President in 2020.
