Party organization of MPS Inspectorate asked to improve leadership and combat capacity

PSNews - The Party organization of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held the 9th Party Congress for the 2020 – 2025 term on August 20 and 21.

In the last term, the Inspectorate’s Party organization closely followed and concretized directives and resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS into the unit’s working planswhile well performing its functions of advising higher-level Party Committees on State management over inspection, as well as receiving citizens, settling complaints and denunciations, preventing and combating corruption in the People's Public Security Forces.

Under the leadership of the Party organization, the MPS Inspectorate successfully organized regular meetings between the MPS’s leaders with citizens in accordance with the laws. It also led the unit to regularly received 7,000 citizens, including 105 groups of citizens, at the MPS’s Citizen Reception Hall. Meanwhile, 99.6% of the complaints received from citizens have been handled.

Additionally, the Party organization effectively implemented the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws while paying due attention to promoting emulation movements, especially the movements “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s six teachings to the Public Security Forces” and “Following President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and lifestyle.

Speaking at the Congress, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised the achievements obtained by the Party organization in the last term.

The Deputy Minister asked the Party organization to increase the combat capacity of its subordinate Party organizations while encouraging its Party members to well perform their duties.

Regarding Party and force building work, the Party organization should attach importance to promoting inspection and supervision of its Party cells.

At the Congress, delegates elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term and a delegation to attend the 7th Public Security Party Congress.
