PCC’s Politburo and Secretariat start to inspect Public Security Central Party Committee

Inspection Delegation No. 1917 of the Politburo and the Secretariat held a meeting to announce its decision to inspect the Public Security Central Party Committee in 2025, on the morning of February 25th, in Hanoi.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the Central Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Inspection Delegation, chaired the meeting.

General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, a representative of the inspection delegation announced the decision on the establishment of the 2025 inspection delegation of the Politburo and the Secretariat to inspect the Public Security Central Party Committee.

The inspection aims to assess results of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW by the 12th PCC and Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW by the 13th PCC, as well as the execution of Directive No. 35-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW by the 13th Politburo within the Public Security Central Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Inspection Delegation Nguyen Trong Nghia underlined that the inspection delegation would weigh how much of the PCC’s directives the Public Security Central Party Committee had accomplished.

He stressed that the inspection would help the Public Security Central Party Committee identify and address any emerging challenges while bringing into full play its achievements.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang underscored that the Public Security Central Party Committee considers the inspection as an opportunity for it to review and comprehensively evaluate its implementation of the directive, noting that it would help the Public Security Central Party Committee learn lessons, promote innovation with the aim of improving the effectiveness of the implementation of directives by the PCC, the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the party committees of units and agencies under the Public Security Central Party Committee should uphold a strong sense of responsibility and make thorough preparation of content and documents for the inspection in accordance with the schedule, ensuring democracy, objectivity and compliance with Party principles, regulations and inspection procedures.
