People's Police Academy holds its Party Congress term 2020 - 2025

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Assoc.Prof. Dr., member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the Party Congress (term 2020 – 2025) of the People’s Police Academy (PPA) on August 31.

Under the comprehensive leadership and direction of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the PPA’s Party organization has successfully completed the assigned tasks and targets set by the last term.

The Party organization led the school to develop its modern and scientific education and training programs in accordance with practices. It also enhanced scientific research, contributing to practical operations of the People's Public Security Force.

The Party organization also attached importance to raising students’ awareness of building an orderly working style and practicing self-discipline while paying due attention to Party building, Party inspection and Party supervision. In the last term, the Party organization expanded cooperation with its partners from foreign countries and international organizations.

Addressing the congress, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh praised the efforts of the PPA’s Party organization in the last term. Regarding its key tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh requested that the Party organization of the PPA should realize opportunities, challenges and requirements of education and training in current situation.

“The PPA should also train students in thinking and analyzing issues as well as improve their  command of foreign languages and competence for  information technology,” the deputy minister stressed.
