People's Police College 1 reviews one-year task performance

The People's Police College 1 (PPC1) held a seminar on May 18 to review its task performance over the past year.

The event, which was chaired by Senior Colonel Le Hoai Nam, Rector of the PPC1, saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Assoc. Prof., PhD., Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the event, Senior Colonel Le Hoai Nam briefed the Deputy Minister on the school’s working results since it was formed from the merger of other college-level police schools in April 2020.

He also pointed out the difficulties and shortcomings faced by the school and mentioned some solutions to further improve the efficiency and quality of the school’s education and training in the future.

Addressing the event, the Deputy Minister praised the teachers, officers, and students of the PPC1 for their efforts and achievements over the past time.

Regarding its key missions in the coming time, Deputy Thanh asked the school to strictly and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Party and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership on fundamentally and comprehensively renovating education and training. According to him, the school should work out on specific development projects and plans until 2025 with a vision to 2030, which mainly focus on building a contingent of qualified teachers and educational administrators.

At the same time, the PPC1 should pay due attention to developing student-centered training methods following the motto “Theories go along with practices” while applying modern technologies in education and training, the Deputy Minister added

On behalf of the PPC1’s leadership, Senior Colonel Le Hoai Nam affirmed that the school will exert all-out effort to overcome difficulties and challenges so as to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
