People’s Police University receives Third-class Fatherland Protection Order

PSNews - Recently, the People’s Police University (PPU) held a ceremony to mark its 45th founding anniversary (April 24, 1976 – 2021) and receive the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order. 
Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi grants the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the PPU.

The ceremony saw the attendance of Major General Le Tan Toi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the ceremony, Senior Colonel Dang Van Tam, Vice Director of the PPU delivered a speech on the history and development of the school. Over the 45 years, the university has successfully trained over 77,000 officers and soldiers for the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Defense, and various judicial agencies. The school also opened short training courses for thousands of senior officials for the Ministry of Home Affairs of Cambodia.

At the ceremony, under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi granted the Third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the PPU and the Second-class Fatherland Protection Order to the school’s Department of Scientific Research Management.

Speaking at the event, the MPS leader praised the university for their achievements over the past time. He asked the PPU to thoroughly follow the Party's guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and the Ministry of Public Security leadership’s directions on education and training as well as security and social order maintenance.

The school should attach great importance to comprehensively renovating its education and training programs meeting the requirements of the new context while paying due attention to building a contingent of dedicated and exemplary teachers with good professional expertise.
