People's Public Security Academy of Politics reviews scientific research activities

The People's Public Security Academy of Politics (PPSAP) on June 25 held a conference to review its scientific research activities over the past 5 years and roll out plans for 2021-2025 period.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Assoc. Prof., Dr., former Deputy Minister of Public Security and other distinguished guests. Lieutenant General Tran Vi Dan, Director of the PPSAP, chaired the conference.

According to reports at the event, the PPSAP has conducted 75 scientific research projects at all levels since 2015, including 5 national-level, 26 ministerial-level, and 31 grassroots-level scientific research projects.

So far, 35 projects of national level have been accepted. Theoretical topics of the studies conducted by the PPSAP focused on investigating and explaining basic issues related to Party building, work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and fighting against wrong and hostile views in the current situation.

Delegates at the event recognized and appreciated the efforts and achievements of the PPSAP in scientific and technological research over the past time. 

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Tran Vi Dan thanked delegates for their opinions and recommendations, saying that they contributed to improving the efficiency and quality of scientific research in the academy in the time to come.
