Prime Minister (PM) Pham Minh Chinh and his entourage paid a Tet visit to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department on January 24.

Major General Tran Phu Ha, Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department briefed the PM and other delegates on the working results of the local police over the past year, saying that the Thanh Hoa police force has overcome all difficulties at work while participating actively in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the province and maintaining the stable political security, social order and safety.

In recognition of their achievements in the "For Homeland Security" movement in 2021, the Provincial Police Department was awarded the “Best in Emulation Movement” Flag by the Minister of Public Security.

At the meeting, PM Pham Minh Chinh spoke highly of the efforts made by the police force of Thanh Hoa province over the past time.

The PM pointed out some key missions for the local police to perform in the coming time, stressing that prevention and control of the pandemic must be one of their priorities in 2022. Next, the local police should pay due attention to promoting its function of the State management agency for security and order in the province while building a strong, clean Party organization and provincial police force, combating corruption and wrongdoings, and protecting the peaceful and happy life for the people, PM Chinh added.
