Police and tourism sector promote coordination in security and order

PSNews-The Department of Tourism and Police of Thua Thien – Hue held a ceremony to sign regulations to coordinate in ensuring security and order in tourism, on July 5.

Accordingly, the coordination regulation includes 3 chapters and 11 articles.

The regulation articulates coordination between the Thua Thien-Hue provincial tourism sector and police in exchanging information to ensure security and order in tourism and cyber security; developing and implementing security plans to protect tourism conferences, festivals, events, tourist sites and routes; strengthening fire prevention; popularizing the movement “All people protecting national security” to all local agencies and units of tourism.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Police said that, amid the current strong growth in tourism, it requires close cooperation in ensuring security and order in tourism, creating connections between the State management agencies and tourism firms.

The signing is part of the efforts to prevent activities negatively affecting the province’s tourism image, and at the same time contributing to building Thua Thien – Hue as a national center of culture and tourism.
