Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem revealed that, over the past time, the Binh Thuan police forces have effectively taken measures to prevent criminals from committing frauds in banking system to illegally take people’s assets.
In particular, local police forces swiftly popularized methods and tricks of this criminal type, helping people raise their vigilance against banking frauds, while closely coordinating with local banks to immediately freeze suspicious bank accounts based on people’s criminal reports in order to minimize losses of people.
At the conference, delegates from police units and agencies and the banking sector pointed out 11 common methods and tricks of banking fraudsters, and discussed approaches to effectively prevent and combat this type of crime.
Concluding the conference, Senior Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem highly appreciated the close coordination between the police forces and local banks in promptly preventing a number of cases of frauds to protect people’s assets.
Senior Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem requested that sub-units of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police Department continue to actively coordinate with the banking sector to effectively prevent and combat this type of crime in the coming time.
