Truong Xuan ward is the southwest gateway to Tam Ky city and has 8,000 residents. The ward also has the  Truong Xuan industrial park with some 3,000 workers temporarily living in the locality, which  contributes to local socio-economic development but also poses challenges to local security and safety.

Over the past time, the police force of Truong Xuan ward has detected and handled dozens of criminal and drug-related cases.

Additionally, they have developed various security models, including the "1+3" models, "reconciliation committees", "self-managed groups", while conducting night patrols with the civil defense forces in order to ensure social order in the ward.

Every week, the ward police organize at least 2 or 3 night patrols to prevent and handle law violations, and at the same time explain local people about criminal tricks and advise them to always put on the alert against crimes.

In 2021, the Truong Xuan Ward Police Post was recognized as the "Determined to Win” unit in the emulation movement for national security.
