The Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department held a year-end conference to review the local police’s task performance in 2022 and roll out the work plan for 2023, on the afternoon of December 26, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended the conference.
In 2022, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department directed its subunits to firmly grasp the security situation, early detect and resolutely fight sabotage acts by hostile forces and political reactionaries in the province, and deny unexpected protests or social disturbances, and effectively carried out anti-crime campaigns.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc praised the local police on their good work results in the past year, saying that the local police absolutely ensured safety for events attended by Party and State leaders in the province, successfully investigated serious criminal cases while reducing the number of traffic accidents and fire incidents.
The local police also promoted the “All people protecting national security” movement by establishing 53 self-managed security models with the participation of people from all walks of life.
For its sound leadership of the local police in 2022, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department was awarded the “Emulation” Flag by the Ministry of Public Security.
Regarding the local police’s tasks in 2023, the Deputy Minister suggested that the provincial police should proactively grasp the security situation, prevent and deal with risks of social instability from afar, draw up a work plan for 2023 in accordance with the local security situation and conditions while advising leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to continue deploying Project 06 in the province.
