Police join hands to help local people

PSNews-Nam Tra My, a mountainous district of Quang Nam province, is home to various ethnic groups, such as Ca Dong and Xo Dang, who are still facing many difficulties with a poverty rate of nearly 65%.

The area is also known for the complicated situations of burglaries and fights as well as superstition practices, which happened here and there secretly in local villages.

The district’s police have reinforced a number of working teams to localities to maintain security and social order as well as to help the locals to overcome poverty.

The working teams also popularize Party policies and laws to the locals and implement various programs to encourage local people to develop their household economy and overcome poverty.

To build a model, the district’s police assigned working teams to help 5 local households in Tra Vinh commune escape poverty.

Members of working teams carefully studied the situation of local production and working practice,and finally found out appropriate and effective methods for them to develop their production and business and get rich. 

In addition to helping locals raise their incomes, police working teams also assist local authorities in issuing certain types of legal documents, namely marriage certificate, family record books, birth certificate and property certificates.
