Police of 6 Northern mountainous provinces review their cooperation

The Provincial Police Department of Cao Bang hosted a conference on December 21 to review the cooperation among the 6 Northern mountainous provinces of Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai and Lao Cai in ensuring security and order in border areas.
On this occasion, various officers and units of the Cao Bang provincial police were honored by the Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee and the Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Le Hoa Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Cao Bang, Senior Colonel Vu Hong Quang, Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department, and leaders from the Provincial Police Departments of the five other provinces.

According to reports at the event, the police forces of the 6 provinces successfully ensured security for the Party congresses at all local levels.

They also coordinated closely with the Border Guard force in conducting patrols along the borderlines, exchanging information and resolving many criminal cases and  controlling exit and entry activities amid the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with the directions by the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee on Disease Prevention and Control.

They also launched various intensive campaigns to suppress criminal activities and social evils.

They also mobilized people to surrender their illegally-stored weapons, explosives and combat gears to the authorities, while detecting and seizing over 1,000 guns of various kinds.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Hai Hoa applauded the efforts and achievements of all Provincial Police Departments of the 6 provinces.

He also noted that the police forces of the 6 provinces should actively draw up plans to ensure security and order in their designated areas.

On this occasion, various officers and units of the Cao Bang provincial police were honored by the Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee and the Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department.
